Welcome to the Joint Annual Meeting 2026
SSI, SSHH in Montreux!
Dear colleagues
On behalf of the Scientific Committee, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to the Joint Annual
Meeting 2026 of the Swiss Society for Infectious Diseases SSI and the Swiss Society of Hospital Hygiene SSHH, with fibs | SIPI.
We are delighted to welcome you to Montreux from Wednesday, September 9 to Friday, September 11, 2026 in Montreux. Following successful meetings in 2016 and 2021, we are especially pleased to return to the newly renovated 2M2C - Montreux Music Convention Center an inspiring venue for scientific exchange and collaboration.
The meeting begins on Wednesday with two dedicated events: the SSHH Symposium and the SSI SAFE-ID Postgraduate Course. The day concludes with the joint SAFE-ID Session, followed by an Apéro Riche, to which all participants are warmly invited.
On Thursday and Friday, you can look forward to a comprehensive scientific program featuring joint plenary sessions, parallel sessions, hot topics, and satellite symposia. The Scientific Committee, with representatives from both societies, has developed a diverse, engaging, and high-quality program that reflects the latest advances in infectious diseases, hospital hygiene, and infection prevention.
We also encourage you to visit our industry partners in the exhibition area, where you will have the opportunity to connect with experts and discover the latest developments, technologies, and innovations. We sincerely thank our sponsors and exhibitors for their generous support, which plays an important role in making this meeting possible.
A special highlight of the meeting will be the Networking Event on Thursday evening, September 10, at the Grand Hotel Suisse Majestic, overlooking the beautiful shores of Lake Geneva. We hope you will join us for an enjoyable evening of conversation and networking in a unique setting.
We look forward to welcoming you to an inspiring and memorable Joint Annual Meeting 2026 and to seeing you in Montreux.
